Trusting the waiting
Some days, growth feels invisible.
You wake up, do the same things, face the same worries, and wonder if anything is actually changing. It’s easy to compare yourself to people who seem to have everything figured out—careers, confidence, clarity. But I’m learning that growth doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it happens quietly, in small choices, in healing moments no one else sees.
I’m learning to be patient with myself. To stop measuring my life using someone else’s ruler. There are lessons I needed time to understand, pains I had to sit with, and seasons I wasn’t meant to rush through. Becoming who I am meant to be requires gentleness, not pressure.
Faith has been a big part of this journey. Trusting that even when things don’t make sense, there is still purpose in the waiting. That even pauses have meaning. I don’t always have answers, but I’m learning to rest in the idea that growth can still happen while I’m unsure, tired, or afraid.
Health, too, has taught me to slow down. Listening to my body. Understanding that healing—whether physical or emotional—takes time. You don’t always bounce back immediately, and that doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human.
This blog isn’t about perfection or having life figured out. It’s about showing up as I am. Learning. Unlearning. Becoming. Slowly.
If you’re here and you feel like life is moving faster than you are, take a breath. You’re not late. You’re not failing. You’re just growing at your own pace—and that’s enough.
